Xiaomi enters the arena of high-spec gaming smartphones with the Black Shark-- a black-and-green 6-inch number with a 1080 x 2160 LCD display running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

The display is a Gorilla Glass 4-clad IPS WLED number able to handle 2400x1600 resolution together with stylus support. Connectivity comes through x2 USB-C ports and headphone jack.
The plans are part of the "Phase B" guidelines first presented at NAB 2018. An evolution of current Phase A technologies, Phase B covers dynamic metadata, next generation audio (NGA) and high frame rate (HFR). As such, one can expect the use of video formats such as Dolby Vision and SL-HDR, as well as Dolby AC-4 and MPEG-H audio.
