iPad mini 5 Incoming for H1 2019?

Apple is set to launch a number of iPad models in H1 2019, DigiTimes reports, with Japanese blog Mac Otakara claiming the lineup will include the so-called iPad mini 5, a device apparently very similar to the previous iPad mini 4.

iPad MiniAccording to Mac Otakara, the iPad mini 5 will be identical in terms of size as the iPad mini 4, down to the same 6.1mm thickness. As such, it will probably have the same 7.9-inch display, at least if the bezels remain unchanged. It should also retain the Lightning connector (no USB-C here), Touch ID and 3.5mm jack, while the rear microphone gets a change of position to the top-centre, in line with the 6th generation iPad.

Amazon Buys Mesh Router Startup Eero

Amazon buys into home mesh networking with Eero, an acquisition the online retailer turned industry giant says will “help customers better connect smart home devices.” Financial details of the deal are not available.

Roomba Maker Takes on Lawnmowers

iRobot, the company behind the Roomba robot vacuum, presents an autonomous lawnmower-- Terra, a robot complete with state-of-the-art mapping and navigation technologies, as well as high-quality mowing.

TerraAccording to the company, the Terra uses Imprint mapping technology in mow the lawn just like people do, navigating a yard in straight, back-and-forth lines. The robot even remembers where it is in the yard and where it still needs to cover, in case it runs out of battery. In case of such a situation, the robot returns to base to recharge before resuming on mowing duties.

According to the makers of the Raspberry Pi, the idea behind the store is to "reach out" to customers with an interest in coding, making and electronics by showing off the capabilities of the device and ecosystem.

Motorola announces the next iteration of the popular mid-range G series smartphones-- the G7, with 4 models in the shape of the regular G7, higher-end G7 Plus, lower-cost G7 Play and long-lasting G7 Power.

Moto G7All the four smartphones share the same design, with an notch housing the front-facing camera and a bottom bezel featuring a Motorola logo. The back features the camera array and fingerprint scanner, while the right side carries a pair of buttons, namely the power/lock button and volume rocker.
