Ailing former action camera heavyweight GoPro hopes to solve at least part of its financial woes by licensing its technology to Jabil, a manufacturing and engineering services provider.

GoPro camerasThe global multi-year deal allows Jabil to put GoPro lenses and sensors in 3rd party, non-GoPro-branded devices, a first for the company. Jabil has been working with GoPro since 2014, when it started manufacturing the Hero4 camera. It is a big manufacturing firm, with 90 facilities across 23 countries.

A Foldable iPhone for 2020?

A Bank of America Merrill Lynch analyst claims the iPhone of the near future will feature a radical redesign, CNBC reports-- Apple is supposedly  working with Asian partners on a foldable smartphone.

bendy phone"We expect the iPhones this fall to be largely unchanged for the OLED versions although size changes have proved to be a catalyst in the past," analyst Wamsi Mohan  says. "Our checks also suggest that Apple is working with suppliers on a foldable phone (that potentially could double up as a tablet) for launch in 2020."

In other words, the iPhone for 2020 might be a device with a big iPad-style display one can fold into something iPhone-sized-- a "pholder," if one is up for unlikely device category names. Companies such as Lenovo and Samsung have worked on such devices, but so far none of them have made it further than the prototype stage.

Audio is included through integrated dual 2W speakers, and customers can pair the projector to a compatible sound system via Bluetooth. Wireless connectivity also allows users to connect the projector to the internet and project HD digital content.

Logitech announces the G560 PC speaker system and G513 mechanical keyboard-- a pair of peripherals aimed at gamer customers featuring "intelligent" Lightsync RGB lighting technology.
